General Voting Information
Voting for the Screen Actors Guild Awards® is done in two stages. The first, nominations balloting, is voted on by two nominating committees – one for Motion Pictures and one for Television. These nominating committees are newly selected each year from all paid-up and active SAG-AFTRA members who have not served previously in the past 8 years.
The second stage of voting, final balloting, begins after nominations are announced. SAG Awards nominations will be announced on the morning of Wednesday, January 8. Follow @sagawards for all the latest info on how to watch.
Final Voting Information
Final voting for the 31st SAG Awards will open on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
All SAG-AFTRA members who have paid their November 2024 dues by the deadline on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, will be eligible to vote for the SAG Awards and receive For Your Consideration materials from the nominated studios and networks.
SAG AWARDS FYC SCREENERS
SAG Awards For Your Consideration screeners are going fully digital this awards season. All voters will have access to digital screeners, but will not automatically receive DVDs in the mail.
Again this year, all digital screeners will include closed captioning and audio description options to make them accessible for those members who are deaf/hoh and blind/low vision.
DVD OPT-IN
If you would like to receive DVD screeners by mail in addition to digital screeners, you must opt in. If you have already opted in, you do not need to again. To complete your DVD opt-in, visit sagaftra.org/dvds. After logging into your SAG-AFTRA account, at the top of "Go Green" options, uncheck the first box indicating you are ok with only receiving digital screeners, and click "Save Go Green Preferences” to confirm your choice. If you have not set up an online SAG-AFTRA account and wish to complete this process over the phone, please call 323-549-6789. It may take up to 2 business days for DVD opt-ins to be reflected with the mailing house, so if you would like to receive DVDs by mail, please opt-in by Friday, January 1 to avoid shipping delays.
For those who opt in, DVDs will be sent out in late January/early February 2025. Since no membership dues are used to pay for screeners, it is up to the studios to decide how to make their titles available. Not all nominated titles will be made available on DVD. Members with addresses outside of the US and Canada are not eligible to receive DVDs.
AWARDS PIN & ONLINE VOTING
Beginning Wednesday, January 15, all eligible members will receive access to an Awards PIN, a 7-digit unique code, that will be your key to voting online and accessing digital screeners. You will need your SAG-AFTRA ID number and last 4 digits of your SSN to retrieve your Awards PIN. On the voting homepage, you will find instructions on how to cast your vote. You can review the of SAG AWards nominees on the site (or print out a PDF) before logging in.
PAPER BALLOT REQUESTS
Any member who does not wish to vote online may request a paper ballot by calling Integrity Voting Systems toll free at (800) 961-8287 before 5 pm PT on Friday, February 7, and a paper ballot will be mailed to you. Please have your SAG-AFTRA ID number available when you call. If you submit both online and a paper ballot, only the paper ballot will be counted.
VOTING DEADLINE: Friday, February 21, 2025.
Final ballots - whether voting online or by mail - must be received by 12 Noon PT.

SAG Awards Screenings
The SAG Awards has established an email database for members who wish to be contacted with screening invitations. Paid-up and active SAG-AFTRA members may sign up for the SAG Awards RSVP Program at any time.
Please know that these may happen very last minute and RSVPs will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
