Submissions for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® are Now Open

LOS ANGELES (August 26, 2024) – Submissions for nomination consideration opened today at sagawards.org/submissions and will close on Friday, November 1 at 5 p.m. (PT). SAG Awards Nominations will be announced on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Winners will be revealed at the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The two-hour ceremony will stream live on Netflix at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT).

WHO MAY SUBMIT
Submissions for the SAG Awards are accepted for performers in Motion Pictures and Primetime Television programs which follow the format of traditional Series, Television Movies and Limited Series. With the actor’s permission, producers, studios/networks, agents, managers or publicists may submit a performance from 2024 for consideration in a category of the actor’s choosing. Actors may also submit their own performances. Submissions may only be made online.

NOMINATIONS VOTING
Separate Motion Picture and Television Nominating Committees will choose the nominees. The voting panels are composed of 5,000 SAG-AFTRA members from across the United States who were randomly selected this spring. Nomination voting opens on Monday, Dec. 16 and closes on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025.

FINAL VOTING
Once nominees are selected, all SAG-AFTRA members in good standing may cast votes to determine who will receive this year's coveted Actor® statuettes. Last year's voting body numbered 119,000+ SAG-AFTRA members. Final voting opens on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Online voting is encouraged.
