Stunt Performers from “Unbroken” and “Game of Thrones” are Honored by SAG-AFTRA for Outstanding Action Performances by Film and Television Stunt Ensembles
LOS ANGELES (Jan. 25, 2015) — The stunt performers and coordinators from “Unbroken” and “Game of Thrones” are this year’s SAG Awards honorees for Outstanding Action Performances by Film and Television Stunt Ensembles, it was announced today from the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® red carpet by Screen Actors Guild Awards Committee Chair JoBeth Williams and Vice Chair Daryl Anderson. The announcement was made on the live “21st Annual SAG Awards Red Carpet Show,” and was webcast on sagawards.tntdrama.com, sagawards.org and PEOPLE.com on Sunday, Jan. 25, beginning at 6 p.m. (ET) / 3 p.m. (PT), with the Stunt Ensemble recipients announced at 6:15 p.m. (ET) / 3:15 p.m. (PT).
The Stunt Ensemble honors commend work within the stunt community during 2014 and recognize stunt performers and coordinators. Nominees chosen by their respective SAG Awards film and television nominating committees were announced on Dec. 10, 2014. Information on voting procedures to choose the recipients was sent to the 111,228 active voting members of SAG-AFTRA on Dec. 16. Balloting closed on Friday, Jan. 23 at noon (PT). Integrity Voting Systems, the Awards' official election teller, sealed the results until Williams and Anderson announced them on the SAG Awards red carpet.

About the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®
The 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® presented by SAG-AFTRA with Screen Actors Guild Awards, LLC will be produced by Avalon Harbor Entertainment, Inc. and will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT). A primetime encore presentation will follow immediately on TNT. The SAG Awards can also be viewed live on the TNT and TBS websites, and also the Watch TNT and Watch TBS apps for iOS or Android. Prior to the televised ceremony, honorees for outstanding television and film stunt ensemble action performances will be announced from the red carpet during the SAG Awards Red Carpet Pre-show, which will be webcast live on sagawards.tntdrama.com, sagawards.org and People.com beginning at 6 p.m. (ET) / 3 p.m. (PT).
One of the awards season’s premier events, the SAG Awards annually celebrates the outstanding motion picture and television performances from the previous calendar year. Of the top industry honors presented to actors, only the SAG Awards are selected entirely by 111,228 performers’ peers in SAG-AFTRA. The SAG Awards was the first televised awards show to acknowledge the work of union members and the first to present awards to motion picture casts and television ensembles.
