LOS ANGELES (February 7, 2023) – The SAG Awards® announced today the new and returning corporate sponsors for the 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®. City National Bank, Campari®, PEOPLE, United Airlines, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, Purely Sedona Artesian Spring Water, Tide, Calm, Lo & Sons, Tony’s Chocolonely®, and Santa Monica Brew Works are among the dedicated corporate sponsors joining the SAG Awards in support of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. The 29th SAG Awards will be broadcast live on Netflix’s YouTube channel, YouTube.com/Netflix, Sunday, February 26 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
Since its inception, the SAG Awards has been a proud, active supporter of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and their mission to provide SAG-AFTRA artists with extensive educational and emergency financial resources. Many of these collaborators and corporate partners make financial pledges to support the SAG Awards and the philanthropic work of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, and many of them opt to enhance the show with on-site activations and in-kind gifts.
City National Bank is continuing its mission to present memorable experiences for the winners by presenting two exciting activations at the awards show: The Actor® Statuette Room presented by City National Bank and The SAG Awards Engraving Station Presented by City National Bank, special and intimate spaces where winners will be able to take home their personalized Actor statuette the same night of the show.
Campari® returns this year becoming the Official Spirits Partner of the SAG Awards as part of the brand’s continued commitment to championing film and television pioneers who push the boundaries of creativity. The iconic Campari red bar will be onsite at the awards show, mixing up the Official Cocktail of the SAG Awards, the Campari Negroni Sbagliato Red-Carpet Edition, alongside a variety of classic cocktails and the Official Champagne of the SAG Awards, Champagne Lallier, to honor awards season.
Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants returns for the fifth year as the official wine partner of the SAG Awards and presenter of the SAG Awards Green Room - a wellness-inspired lounge area where nominees, presenters, and winners can relax and unwind. The bar will feature their custom SAG Awards Red and White Artist Blends and specialty wine/sangria cocktails infused with fresh botanicals and fruit, including a virgin “sans-gria” option. Their continued partnership with the SAG Awards and the SAG-AFTRA Foundation is a testament to their support of community-driven organizations and the arts. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty will also be on-site, providing makeup stations in the reception room for guests and a touch-up station for presenters and winners backstage.
As part of the SAG Awards' sustainability efforts, the show has partnered with Purely Sedona Artesian Spring Water, a premium brand sourced naturally from the Oak Creek Canyon of Sedona, AZ, to provide water for the event. Beer will be provided at the show by the only locally owned and operated craft production brewery on Los Angeles’ Westside, Santa Monica Brew Works.
PEOPLE is returning to host the post awards gala for the 25th year. This celebration marks a milestone in PEOPLE's long-standing partnership with the SAG Awards, and highlights their continued commitment to supporting the mission and work of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. United Airlines has been with the show since its inception and is returning to gift all winners a pair of roundtrip United Polaris® tickets, giving them access to enhanced service and comfort with reimagined dining options worldwide.
The 29th SAG Awards also curated a collection of products from brands that generously donated to the Foundation to help this year’s Nominees celebrate their nomination at home. Each sponsor pledged a sum to be donated to the Foundation’s emergency relief efforts and performers’ programs. The bag included products from Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, Calm, Lo & Sons, and Tony’s Chocolonely.
Tide is presenting the livestream's audio descriptions for the second year in a row, allowing audiences to enjoy the show more fully with live descriptions of the visual aspects of the online broadcast. The effort is a continuation of the SAG Awards’ commitment to inclusion with the blind and low vision community.
Because of generous supporters like these, last year the SAG-AFTRA Foundation provided:
- Over 5,500 free educational panels, classes, workshops and individual sessions to over 31,000 SAG-AFTRA artists to help them develop their craft, deepen their industry and business acumen, and stay current with evolving production protocols.
- Over $800,000 in emergency financial assistance, COVID relief, senior financial crisis aid, health assistance and disaster relief to help our family of performers when they needed it most.
- $300,000 in higher education scholarships to SAG-AFTRA artists and their dependents.
