Ken Howard and JoBeth Williams to Announce This Year's Stunt Ensemble Honorees During the SAG Awards Red Carpet Pre-Show
The 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® Red Carpet Pre-Show Will Stream Live on
Saturday, Jan. 30, from 6 p.m. (ET) / 3 p.m. (PT)
LOS ANGELES (Jan. 15, 2016) — SAG-AFTRA President Ken Howard and SAG Awards® Committee Chair JoBeth Williams will announce the honorees for Outstanding Action Performances by Film and Television Stunt Ensembles from the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® red carpet, SAG Awards Executive Producer Kathy Connell announced today.
Honorees in these categories, which recognize memorable television and film stunt ensemble action performances during calendar year 2015, will be announced from the red carpet during the SAG Awards Red Carpet Pre-show, when Howard and Williams open the envelopes sealed by the independent election teller and reveal which ensembles received the most votes. The announcement will be webcast live on sagawards.tntdrama.com, sagawards.org and People.com beginning at 6 p.m. (ET) / 3 p.m. (PT).
The nominees for the Screen Actors Guild Awards were selected by two separate film and television nominating panels. each composed of 2,200 SAG-AFTRA members from across the United States. All 116,741 SAG-AFTRA members who were in good standing as of Dec. 1, 2015 are eligible to vote for the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in all categories. Final voting information was sent to eligible members on Dec. 16, and ballots must be received by the Screen Actor Guild Awards’ official teller Integrity Voting Systems by noon (PT) Friday, Jan. 29, 2016.
