26th Screen Actors Guild Awards^® Returns to TNT & TBS in New Deal

Annual Telecast moves to Sunday, January 19, 2020

LOS ANGELES (July 25, 2019) – SAG Awards^® Executive Producer Kathy Connell today announced that the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020, at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT) in a network renewal deal. Key deadlines and dates have also been released for the celebration of excellence, which will honor the outstanding film and television performances of 2019.

“We are thrilled to extend our long relationship with the Screen Actors Guild Awards into 2020,” said Kevin Reilly, Chief Content Officer, HBO Max and president, TNT, TBS, and truTV. “The telecast continues to be a high point of entertainment in our new lineup of programming.”

“Over the past 20 plus years we have built a strong relationship with TNT and we are excited to move forward with them as our partners into this new television landscape,” said SAG Awards Executive Producer Kathy Connell.

Submissions for nomination consideration for the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will open on Monday, July 29, 2019. Submissions will close on Monday, October 21, 2019.  With the actor’s permission, producers, studios/networks, agents, managers, or publicists may submit a performance from 2019 for consideration in a category of the actor’s choosing. Actors may also submit their own performances. All submissions must be submitted online at sagawards.org/submissions.

Nominations for the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be announced on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.
